Days of Rage

How can we break the cycle of violence? How far would you be willing to go for what you believe in? Days of Rage poses these questions to the audience through main characters, Jean, the leader of Hard Rain that is against Imperialism and the Vietnam war, and David, the leader of the Black Angels that is fighting for their community and against gentrification. This show is inspired by the activist groups, the Weathermen/Weather Underground and the Black Panther Party in late 1960s and early 1970s. It’s a show about people who fight for their conviction and about the people who tried to change the world at least once.

Sunfish

Sunfish is a musical retelling of the Sim-chung Korean folk tale about unconditional love and sacrifice, chronicling the relationship between a poor, blind Father and his daughter, Aheh (whom he loving calls his Sunfish) and the great journey of her trying to regain her father’s eyesight in a world where anything is possible.

When you live and die alone in the city, what will you miss the most? What will you leave behind? And what will you regret the most? A Story No One Knows is a dark romantic comedy musical that examines the humanity of people through the eyes of ghosts, Su(-icide), Di(-abetes), and Al(-coholic). With a intertwined quirky romance story between X, who wants to be a writer that lives in writer’s block forever, and Y, who wants to be a big-time salesman but in reality, he’s just a decedent property agent that cleans the mess of living after lonely death.

Luna Park chronicles the partnership of Skip Dundy and Fred Thompson, the true fathers of the modern amusement park. A full generation before Walt Disney, they created at Coney Island an attraction called Luna Park, a place designed to allow everyone to forget the pressures of modern industrial society and remember how to play. It’s about two dreamers who dream big and make their dreams come true.
